Can anyone tell me the recipe for the Greek potato soup served at Jim & Jennie's Greek Village in Omaha, NE?

It's creamy, with a hint of chicken and lemon.Can anyone tell me the recipe for the Greek potato soup served at Jim %26amp; Jennie's Greek Village in Omaha, NE?
Try this, it seems close, if not at least you have an example to make your own.





INGREDIENTS:


8 potatoes, cubed


4 cloves garlic - peeled and sliced


6 stalks celery with leaves, chopped


1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric


2 lemons, juiced


1 can chicken broth


salt and pepper to taste


Place potatoes, garlic and celery into a large stockpot with chicken broth and a little water to cover. Cover and bring to a boil. Cook until potatoes are tender, about 25 minutes.


Season with turmeric, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Mash some of the potato chunks for a thicker consistency or place in blender to puree.Can anyone tell me the recipe for the Greek potato soup served at Jim %26amp; Jennie's Greek Village in Omaha, NE?
