Well...I'm not really sure how original it is, but my mom's recipe for chicken and rice is great. I love it so much.

Ingredients:

4-5 boneless skinless chicken breast

2 cans of Campbell's cream of mushroom soup

1 Packet of french onion soup mix (its a powder that can be used to make soup or dip, my mom usually buys the Lipton kind)

2 1/2 cups of white rice

1 cup milk

Add soup, powder, and milk to a bowl and mix till smooth. Pour rice into a 9x13x2 inch baking pan and pour the mixture over it. Stir it in to make sure all the rice is covered. Place the chicken over the rice and cover the pan with tin foil. Bake in 350 degree oven till chicken is cooked through and rice is soft.

Here is another recipe that I absolutely LOVE. Its called Camp Stew. It eats like a sloppy joe but tastes SO much better.

Ingredients:

two pounds of ground beef

five strips of bacon

half of a large white onion

two cans Campbell's condensed vegetable soup

two cans Campbell's condensed tomato soup

eight hamburger buns or loaf of bread

Fry bacon till it is crispy. Brown the beef. Coarsely chop the onion and brown. Break up the crispy bacon into small bits. Dump the beef, bacon, onion, and the condensed soup (DON'T add water to the soup, just take it straight from the can to the pot) into a large pot. Heat on medium high till it is hot. Serve it over a hamburger bun. Potato chips are a great side with this. I LOVE IT

Chicken Quesadillas

Double-wrap 2 or 3 split chicken breasts in aluminum foil, place on cookie sheet and bake at 275 degrees for roughly 3 hours. Take chicken out and allow to cool. Remove the skin and shred the chicken (by now it should literally fall apart) into small pieces. (You could do this the day before you wanted to eat this, just store in the fridge).

Add chicken to one can of Southwest Queso Soup and simmer til warm.

Place 4 8 inch flour tortillas on lightly greased (use Pam) baking sheet, add chicken mixture to center of tortilla and wet edges, place another tortilla on top and bake at 350 degrees until heated through (about 15 minutes)

Remove from oven and slice into quarters with pizza cutter.

An alternative to baking them is heating them on a pancake gridle (this makes them a bit crisper, more like they serve them at Garfields). Heat on each side until brown.

ENJOY!
