In Miami, Fl and I recently went to Flanigans and had the best Steak soup ever. Does anyone know the recipe?

No, but I do have a GREAT Steak soup recipe.





1 pound ground beef -- browned and drained


1 Tablespoon oil


1 cup carrot -- thinly sliced


1/2 cup onion -- chopped


1/2 cup celery -- thinly sliced


1 can beef broth -- College Inn


14 ounces can of Chopped Italian Tomatoes -- with juice


1 cup water


1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon pepper


1/2 cup frozen peas


2 tablespoons fresh parsley





Brown ground beef,remove from pan and set aside. Add to same pan, oil, carrots, onion, and celery, cover and cook till veggies are soft about 5 minutes. Gradually add beef broth, and tomatoes, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Return ground beef to pan bring to a boil and simmer about 25 minutes. Stir in frozen peas and parsley and simmer 5 minutes more.





NOTES : This is wonderful served with a dark bread like pumpernickel.In Miami, Fl and I recently went to Flanigans and had the best Steak soup ever. Does anyone know the recipe?
Steak Soup


Ingredients


2 lbs Ground beef


1 stick Butter


1/2 cup Flour


1/2 Onion - chopped


1 can Diced tomatoes


2 cans Beef consume


2 cans Beef broth


1 bag Frozen mixed vegetables


1 can Corn


Preparation





Melt butter in soup pan over medium heat. Add flour and stir until bubbly. Continue to cook for 3 minutes.





Add consume, broth, onions, and tomatoes.





Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.





Meanwhile, brown and drain ground beef.





After 30 minutes, add the ground beef and frozen vegetables.





Return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
