I'm looking for the ';Big Boys'; restaurant recipe for making cabbage soup. Does anyone know how to make this?

BIG BOY STYLE CABBAGE SOUP





1 can beef broth or French onion soup


3/4 med. head cabbage, chopped


2 white onions, chopped


1 green pepper, chopped


1 Valasic mild pepperoncini, chopped fine


1/2 c. chopped celery


4 c. water


1 lg. can tomatoes (and juice), chopped


1 clove garlic, if desired


2 dashes ';red hot'; sauce, if desired


2-3 tbsp. brown sugar





In a large pot, place broth, chopped cabbage, onions, peppers, celery and water. Bring to a boil, turn down to simmer. Add brown sugar and optional garlic and hot sauce. Cook until ingredients are tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Add chopped tomatoes and juice. Add more water if needed. Serves 4-6.I'm looking for the ';Big Boys'; restaurant recipe for making cabbage soup. In hot oil,cook chopped onions and half inch cubes of cabbMage untill translucent. Maybe some thyme, garlic,salt %26amp;pepper.Add to a nice chicken base,cookslowly untill flavors meld. Add brown sugas and a drop of white viegas to make a sweet and sour
